Transcript Requests
Greetings, August Martin High School alumni! We understand how important your transcript and education verification request is to embark on the next steps in your lifes journey. Please read the following information in it’s entirety.
Sending a request – All requests must be emailed to the following email address: 27Q400transcripts@schools.nyc.gov. You must include the following information:
- Full name (at the time of attendance
- Date of birth
- Year of graduation or discharge
- Upload a photo of government/state ID.
Please include where you’d like your transcript sent: email address of admissions, job locations, home address, etc.
The Transcript Department will respond to your inquiries via email only. Processing times range from seven to 10 business days September through mid June (peak school hours) and are processed in the order in which requests are received. Unfortunately, this time is non-negotiable to ensure accuracy in records release. Please prepare for delayed processing during off-peak school hours (school closures, 3rd week in June, July, and August). Walk ins and pick ups are not permitted.
Education Law § 5002(2)(d) reminder, student permanent records shall be maintained for twenty years.
